Mission
Our Vision
Our mission is to nurture an interconnected community through dance and the movement arts – offering spaces and events that celebrate embodiment and connection.
Presence Studio is located in Bellingham, Washington. The studio was founded by Jenny Macke. Opening its doors in 2008. Presence Studio is now run as a non-profit 501(c)(3) by volunteer stewards and a board of directors.

Our beloved studio location has closed due to circumstances beyond our control, but Presence Studio — the 501(c)3 non-profit organization and the spirit of our community — lives on. We are currently seeking a new home for the movement arts and would be deeply grateful for any leads on spaces for lease, hourly rent, or purchase that could accommodate approximately 2,000 square feet of open dance space..

Even without a physical studio, we maintain essential expenses—about $400 per month—that keep the nonprofit active, insured, and ready for its next home.
